Day 1 – Travel from your local joining point to your overnight hotel in Belgium.

Day 2 – After breakfast travel on south through to Austria. We reach the resort of Niederau and our 4-star hotel for five nights. B,D

Day 3 – Salzburg (included). Free time to explore the Christmas market. B,D

Day 4 – Innsbruck (included). Enjoy a day exploring the capital of the Tirol, with its famous Golden Roof and medieval old town. Return for five-course dinner. Traditional lighting of the Christmas tree, followed by nativity readings and a rendition of Silent Night by mine host, Herbert Thaler, on the harp. B,D

Day 5 – Horse-Drawn Sleigh Ride (included) in the morning. Warming goulash soup for lunch, five-course evening meal followed by music and dancing. B,LL,D

Day 6 – Kitzbühel (optional). A half day to this world famous international resort. B,D

Day 7 – Return north to your overnight hotel in Belgium.B

Day 8 – After breakfast return to the U.K.B

Your hotels

The friendly 4-star Hotel Sonnschein, a favourite with Leger customers is situated a short stroll away from the centre of the village of Niederau. The hotel has a bar, lift, lounge and restaurant, as well as an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and fitness room.

All bedrooms have T.V., radio, telephone, safe and hairdryer.

Please Note - 21-12-09 Departure

Unfortunately, the Hotel Sonnschein is unable to accommodate our group for 5 nights from the 22 December and therefore we have made alternative accommodation arrangements for the night of the 26 December. Passengers will now stay for 4 nights on a half board basis at the 4-star Hotel Sonnschein in Niederau from the 22 December.

Following the optional half-day excursion to Kitzbühel on 26 December, pax will travel to Ulm, where they will spend 1 night on a half board basis at the 4-star Maritim Hotel Ulm. Situated on the banks of the River Danube, the hotel has a restaurant, bar, lift and indoor swimming pool. All bedrooms have T.V., telephone, safety deposit box and hairdryer. We will also now include a short visit to the city of Cologne on the 27 December.
