Dec 22: Travel from your local joining point to your overnight hotel in Belgium.

Dec 23: Continue to your hotel in the Austrian Tirol with welcome drink on arrival. B, D

Christmas Eve: An included excursion to Salzburg, the famous ‘Sound of Music’ city and birthplace of Mozart, with its medieval spires, lofty fortress and Baroque fountains. Explore the sights or simply relax in a friendly café, taking in the atmosphere. In the afternoon remain in the city as the locals prepare for ‘Holy Night’ or join an optional excursion to the Salzkammergut Lakes. B, D

Christmas Day: After breakfast, leave for the Kitzbühel Alps and board the romantic old Gisela Railway for an included train ride on the Giselabahn, between Kitzbühel and Zell am See. The journey takes you through some superb mountain scenery at the slow pace of a bygone age. During the day, you can also enjoy an optional, traditional horse and carriage ride through the local countryside before returning for a Christmas evening turkey dinner at your hotel. B, D

Boxing Day: We travel into Germany, along the ‘Romantic Road’ to visit the medieval walled town of Rothenburg-ob-der Tauber, with its quaint cobbled streets and well-preserved buildings. Tonight, we stay in the Frankfurt area. B, D

Dec 27: A full-day excursion to the delightful Rhine and Moselle Valleys, with a leisurely optional cruise along the meandering Rhine to admire the breathtaking scenery. During your time in the peaceful Moselle Valley, don’t miss the opportunity to sample the delicious local wines at the famous House of Anton Hammes at Alken. Later, we travel to your overnight hotel in Belgium. B

Dec 28: Homewards to the U.K. B

You will stay for three nights at the 3-star Hotel Haus am Wildbach set in the heart of beautiful countryside and a short walk from the centre of Auffach at the head of the Wildschonau Valley. The hotel has a restaurant, bar, games room and lift whilst all bedrooms will have a T.V. Silver Service departures will stay for three nights at the 3-star Gasthof Schwarzer Adler in Ramsau. The hotel has a restaurant, bar and lift whilst all bedrooms have T.V., telephone and balcony. Overnight stays in Belgium and the Frankfurt area will be in citystyle hotels.
