Dec 22: Fly to Vienna and then transfer to your hotel for a six-night stay. D

Dec 23: This morning we include a half-day sightseeing tour of this historic city and introduce the most important sights. Spend the rest of the day at leisure in the city of Vienna. B, D

Christmas Eve: Spend another day at leisure in Vienna. Why not warm up with a cup of Glühwein (mulled wine) as you wander around the Christmas market, located around the Rathaus (Town Hall). The market offers both traditional and original Austrian gifts including ginger bread, Christmas tree ornaments and jewellery. Alternatively browse the designer stores of the fashionable Carinthian Street in the heart of the city. B, D

Christmas Day: Spend Christmas day at leisure in the Austrian capital, before celebrating in style this evening with a Viennese Evening at the Crown Prince Rudolfshof restaurant. B, D

Boxing Day: Enjoy another day at leisure to visit the historic sights which may include the magnificent St. Stephen’s Cathedral and the impressive Hofburg Palace or maybe try one of the excursions available from the hotel reception. Tonight we enjoy dinner at the revolving restaurant at the top of the Danube Tower. B, D

Dec 27: Your final day at leisure in Vienna. Why not take time to relax and enjoy a traditional Viennese coffee with a slice of the local ‘Sachertorte’ chocolate cake in one of the city’s tempting street cafés. B, D

Dec 28: Transfer to Vienna airport for your return flight to the U.K.

You will stay for six nights at the 4-star Hotel Delta in Vienna. The hotel is located close by the Südbahnhof which allows convenient and easy access to all parts of the city via the excellent metro system. The hotel has a bar, restaurant and lift whilst bedrooms have T.V., telephone, safe and hairdryer.
