Warmly attired, you will be able to enjoy our various activities,
including a Lapland Ceremony – which takes place inside a traditional
tepee where, warmed by a crackling fire, you will hear traditional tales
from a Lappish storyteller – a short ride upon a sleigh pulled by
reindeer, a speedy sled ride behind a team of eager huskies and the
exhilaration of a snowmobile ride, where you will be pulled in a sled
or, if you would prefer, have the opportunity to drive your own. On this
day break children will have the opportunity to drive a junior
snowmobile. Our day also includes a traditional Lappish lunch – basic
but tasty and filling – and of course the highlight, a search for Santa
himself amid the silent, snow-covered wilderness scenery. In the busy
days before Christmas, Santa often visits many areas of Lapland and if
we do manage to find him, he is sure to find time to talk to all the
children individually about their Christmas letters.
