>Based at the enthralling Snow Village Lapland Magic, an all-inclusive day break deep inside the Arctic Circle in Lapland, offers an opportunity to search for the elusive Santa Claus amid some of Lapland’s most beautiful wilderness scenery. You can take part in our exciting selection of Arctic activities all based around a delightful and unusual snow village.
The day break is centred around the fascinating Snow Village, deep in the Lappish wilderness. This unusual assembly of buildings is constructed entirely out of ice. Throughout the village you will find beautifully sculpted ice statues, wall plaques and other ingenious and artistic constructions. For example in the centre of the snow village you can visit the ice bar for a drink where even the tables and chairs are ice! Maybe you will stumble across the underground cavern inside which you can send a postcard home or see local arts and crafts. Warmly attired, you will be able to enjoy our various activities, including a Lapland Ceremony – which takes place inside a traditional tepee where, warmed by a crackling fire, you will hear traditional tales from a Lappish storyteller – a short ride upon a sleigh pulled by reindeer, a speedy sled ride behind a team of eager huskies and the exhilaration of a snowmobile ride, where you will be pulled in a sled or, if you would prefer, have the opportunity to drive your own. On this day break children will have the opportunity to drive a junior snowmobile. Our day also includes a traditional Lappish lunch – basic but tasty and filling – and of course the highlight, a search for Santa himself amid the silent, snow-covered wilderness scenery. In the busy days before Christmas, Santa often visits many areas of Lapland and if we do manage to find him, he is sure to find time to talk to all the children individually about their Christmas letters. What's Included: Return flights from Birmingham, Cardiff, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Gatwick, Glasgow, Humberside, Leeds Bradford, Manchester or Stansted

Day 1: After having arrived at the airport and having been
transferred to your accommodation, we will provide you with warm over
garments and boots. We invite you to join in simple snow games such as
ice fishing, snow shoe races, etc. Before enjoying a generous buffet
dinner you may want to relax in the sauna or have a drink at the bar.
Day 2: Your search for Santa and his naughty Elves starts after
breakfast with a breathless morning of tobogganing, snowmobile and husky
rides and reindeer treks. On your way, watch out for clues hidden by the
mischievous Elves. Alternatively, this morning might be spent at a
traditional Arctic Circle ceremony with souvenir certificates and gifts.
After lunch a highlight of your stay is a trip to Santa's Post Office.
Send letters to Santa, visit his sorting office and take a peek inside
the Elves toy-making workshop.
After flying to Kitilla airport, your unforgettable day takes you to the
wilderness location of our programme, deep within the grandeur of
Lapland's scenic winter wonderland. The all-inclusive price includes the
protective warmth of a thermal suit and boots but please remember to
bring additional scarves, hat and gloves.
After having arrived at Enontekio airport and being supplied with warm
over garments and boots, you will be transferred to the activity area
for today by snowmobile and sleigh ride directly from the airport for
your Santa Tour. A very special transfer indeed as it will give you the
opportunity to fully appreciate the peace and calm of Lapland’s stunning
scenery.
Activities range from the Lapland Ceremony, conducted by a Lappish
storyteller around a warming fire inside a traditional Kota, to a short
reindeer sleigh ride, a brief sled ride behind a team of huskies and a
breathtaking ride on a sleigh pulled by snowmobile, although adults have
the opportunity to drive themselves. Other activities include
tobogganing and kick-sledging. Our day also includes a traditional
Lappish lunch - basic but tasty and filling - and of course, most
thrilling of all, a search for Santa himself amid the peaceful,
snow-laden woods, where, if we are able to track him down, our guides
say he is likely to have time to talk to each child individually about
the letters they have written him.
